From butterflies to UFO's

All of these occurred today, February 3, 2008.

Around 2:00 a.m.
I spotted a small brown butterfly hovering at the hall of the house we used for the UP Harong team building activity. It reminded me of one of the most vivid memory in my childhood - watching a big brown butterfly hovering outside our window after my Lola died. I was 5 years old then.

Around 5:30 a.m.
Tanya and I were leaving the house. After passing the gate, a black cat crossed before us. We're not superstitious but it scared the hell out of us.

Around 6 a.m.
I was on the jeepney from Philcoa to to Quezon Ave. Along QC circle, I saw a black cloth on the road, being ran over by the vehicles. It was a creepy scene for me. Really.

Around 4:30 p.m.
After jamming/gossiping with my highschool friends Raz, Precious, Joshua and Iji at Mcdo Katips, we decided to visit the ADMU campus. We entered the gate near the overpass. Before crossing, a black funeral car passed. After that, I shared with them the things I saw earlier.

At 5:50 p.m.
The five of us were on our way home when suddenly, we caught sight of a falling object on the sky. We witnessed it descending at a slow motion for 25 seconds. I even managed to take these pictures.

Whatever it is, our "TEAM" is researching about it.

Today, a lot of creepy stuff happened. The things I saw, are they omens? If they are, what are they trying to warn me?

Maybe this incident is related to the dead U.S. spy satellite which is expected to hit earth on February or March. To see details, please refer to http://www.dvorak.org/blog/?p=15778

Or maybe, just maybe, this is a foreshadowing of what MIGHT or WILL happen five years from now. To know what I'm referring to, please see http://december212012.com/

I want your comments. No, I need them. =)

English Rule

In elementary, I was asked to pay 1 peso for speaking in Filipino or Bicol.

In high school, I was a survivor of the English Zone Rule and Word Master Clinic. Those caught in speaking in Filipino or Bicol had their IDs confiscated. To claim the IDs, they must first pass a test at the Word Master Clinic. I forgot the other mechanics but basically this was the rule.

Ponder on this. We are in the Philippines, yet we are sanctioned for speaking our own language.

I pity myself for realizing this just now. I should've not payed 1 peso everytime I spoke in my native tongue. It was foolish.

I understand the need to be fluent in English. But, we also have the need to be fluent in Filipino, right?

To my peers, look at ourselves. It's a shame that there are some (or many) who cannot speak well in Filipino. Including me.

I also understand that the Philippines had been infested by Spanish, American and other foreign influences. I am also aware of our mental coloniality. Even I possess this kind of thinking.

Why am I saying this? What do I want? I know we can't easily wipe out the mentality. But we can do something to preserve the nation's priceless possession: the Filipino language. What I wish to see is MODERATION. There is nothing wrong with purchasing imported products or learning the English language. Just don't forget that there are a lot of local entrepreneurs and businessmen who will benefit a lot from our investment.

And please please please, don't be ashamed if you can't communicate well with English speaking Filipinos and foreigners, BE ASHAMED if you can't speak well in Filipino!

Hoy Pilipino, matuto kang mag-Pilipino!

Math 17: 53%

[Hi Sir! Extra ka dito. Alam kong mababasa mo to]

Lib? Haha! Biro lang po. Ayokong mamatay na may NBSB sa lapida. Diyos ko Lord! [Namiss ko rin si Sir Ren. Salamat po sa karanasang naidulot ng iyong MOMA.]

There are 24 letters in your name.
Those 24 letters total to 85
There are 11 vowels and 13 consonants in your name.

What your first name means:

SpanishFemalePure.

Your number is: 4

The characteristics of #4 are: A foundation, order, service, struggle against limits, steady growth.

The expression or destiny for #4:
Order, service, and management are the cornerstones of the number 4 Expression. Your destiny is to express wonderful organization skills with your ever practical, down-to-earth approach. You are the kind of person who is always willing to work those long, hard hours to push a project through to completion. A patience with detail allows you to become expert in fields such as building, engineering, and all forms of craftsmanship. Your abilities to write and teach may lean toward the more technical and detailed. In the arts, music will likely be your choice. Artistic talents may also appear in such fields as horiculture and floral arrangement, as well. Many skilled physicians and especially surgeons have the 4 Expression. (Ooooh)

The positive attitudes of the 4 Expression yield responsibility; you are one who no doubt, fulfills obligations, and is highly systematic and orderly. You are serious and sincere, honest and faithful. It is your role to help and you are required to do a good job at everything you undertake.

If there is too much 4 energies present in your makeup, you may express some of the negative attitudes of the number 4. The obligations that you face may tend to create frustration and feelings of limitation or restriction. You may sometimes find yourself nursing negative attitudes in this regard and these can keep you in a rather low mood. Avoid becoming too rigid, stubborn, dogmatic, and fixed in your opinions. You may have a tendency to develop and hold very strong likes and dislikes, and some of these may border on the classification of prejudice. The negative side of 4 often produces dominant and bossy individuals who use disciplinarian to an excess. These tendencies must be avoided. Finally, like nearly all with 4 Expression, you must keep your eye on the big picture and not get overly wrapped up in detail and routine.

Your Soul Urge number is: 1

A Soul Urge number of 1 means:
Your Soul Urge is the number 1. With a Soul Urge number of 1, you want to lead and direct, to work independent of supervision, by yourself or with subordinates. You take pride in your abilities and want to be recognized for them. You may seek opportunities to display your strength and usefulness, wanting to create and originate. In your desire to manage the big picture and the main issues, you may often leave the details to others.

The positive 1 Soul Urge is Ambitious and determined, a leader seeking opportunities. There is a great deal of honesty and loyalty in this character. If you possess positive 1 Soul Urge qualities, you are very attainment oriented and driven to success. You are a loyal friend and strictly fair in your business dealings.

The negative side of the 1 Soul Urge must be avoided. A negative 1 is apt to dominate situations and people; the home, the spouse, the family and the business. Emotions aren't strong in this nature. If you possess an excess of 1 energy, you may, at times, be boastful and egotistic. You must avoid being too critical and impatient of trifles. The great need of the 1 Soul Urge is the development of friendliness, and a sincere interest in people.

Your Inner Dream number is: 3

An Inner Dream number of 3 means:
You dream of artistic expression; writing, painting, music. You would seek to more freely express your inner feeling and obtain more enjoyment from life. You also dream of being more popular, likable, and appreciated.

Got this from Third. FC! Haha.
